my web banner experiments
The first experiment of a web banner I used photo shop this is my out come I am very impressed with it but I'm also really disappointed at the fact its very dull and really simple I had no help making this one but I probably wont be able to make a decent one in flash with out help. overall it was a good experiment for a first time making one.
My evaluation
My banner is coming along nicely I got the coding working for the URL to the course website its quite a simple banner, its eye catching and its interactive to the course we are on I think I could do better but the time scale to everything done hasn't left me with the greatest time scale to get a better banner with more interaction.
I struggled getting the coding correct to make it work to connect it with the URL and after a few attempts it worked, i have used basic standards banner sizes and very colours for my banner so it was simple but effective, I hand wrote in the coding myself so it made it a lot harder to find the mistakes or missing parts of coding before I got it correct and it worked to the website of this course. I have used only three words in my banner on a loop so it makes you feel involved in the advertising of this course.
