research on web banners

 This is my presentation on web banners I found out some really interesting things about it web banners and some really bad things about them 

 


World Wide Web is a place a socialising and getting people attention to look at advertising to get the viewers interested at what your advertisement is, half the time it works but mainly for games, so I researched games that are most recent out and most popular  
This is one of my favourite banners to look at because of the contrast of dark and light colours combined together. the writing on this banner is very small but readable this is promoting a guild for a famous game world of warcraft i love the fact they have use to images of characters from the game on either side the text in the middle and the two characters are just going over the banner board its makes more effective to look at, http://wow.stratics.com/content/events/WWI08/index.php My favourite web banner so far is the world of warcraft one because of the contrast the traditional left hand clicking to go other places on the website, The way it's been moded into one. It has trailer for upcoming patches for the game showing you information how to play it.

The gears of war 3 banner is clean and clear to read and see the images the same as World Of Warcraft banner above this shows they have use the correct sizing for the banners the correct sizing for each image, They are not over pact with information and imagery just enough and still effective to the eye.The call of duty world at war web banner is very effective in itself bold simple easy to read writing not the best uses of colours but you can clearly see the solider with weapons on his back and in his hands waiting for you to play.

http://www.lg.com/uk/mobile-phones/index.jsp I think its always a good idea to always have animation in a web site/web banner because it enspires people to come look at your website, i love the contrast, use of colours, and the use of animation in this website, keeps to the traditional website design clicking to the left,  this is interesting to look at because it looks like pop art but more modern termed its the fashion of dark and light colours contrasted together along with the image of some one eye with the contact lens in,the Layout of the web banner is eye catching it has the product in the image and the text is easy to read 

The layout of Game website is basic but easy to access it's got great contrast and colours same as the other two websites i have been researching traditional clicking on the left main theme of what's best seller and web banner on the top scroller got trailer for the newest games out at the time its simple to easy and very basic and its a famous logo

For this task i found some really good and bad banners for my research this helped me figured out what colour and text not to go for and which is suitable for my banner therefore the better the quality of the text and image the better the results are,
